Our First Month¶

A little late but on the 20^th March 2024, we had been part of the Fediverse for a month. How time flies.

We would just like to welcome everyone that has joined our fun yet chaotic little corner and are looking forward to seeing the community interact with each other (locally & globally).

Its been wild.

Remember, this is your community as much as ours.

We want everyone to feel apart of it and help guide it as it grows and develops.

Threads Federation¶

As you may or may not know, Meta has started to federate with the Fediverse.

While it was our intention of leaving the decision to federate or not with threads.net to our users, it has been made aware that their policy is to deferate with instances that don't match their requirements.

One of those requirements is having publically visible feeds. This is something we don't provide. We respectifully ask that those wishing to view & interact with our users within the context of the fediverse, do so within and as a member of the fediverse.

Therefore as a preemptive measure, we have added them to our blocklist due to the fact that down the line our instance would be shadow-blocked by them anyway as per their policy.

Apologies for changing our decision and to those who wish to interact with users on Threads.

Moderation¶

While we are relatively new, we don't see many bad actors trying to join and disrupt things.

However there has been a few (22 to be exact) reports submitted by our community regarding remote accounts.
